OnePlus has launched a new call to recruit beta testers. This is subject to a confidentiality agreement and promises to test the most secret features of the company. When brands have few models at the same time on the market, their software advancements are often more quickly developed and deployed on the vast majority of their portfolio. This mastery is therefore their strength.
This is the business model used by OnePlus since its inception, and that has not moved until the release of OnePlus 6T. Thus, one can have very quickly, often in closed beta, many software innovations spread over previous generations.
That being said, these innovations do not magically appear on an open beta: a first closed beta cycle, often longer and reserved for hand-picked users, can test tons of new secret features that will appear much later in the eyes of the public.
Would you like to be part of it? That’s good: OnePlus is recruiting 100 new people to be part of its closed beta test. Prerequisites are to have a OnePlus 6T, to be an active member of the OnePlus community (especially on its forums) and to be ready to share any feedback with the OnePlus team on Slack. Of course, everything you test will be subject to a strict confidentiality agreement.
If you feel the soul of a beta tester, all you have to do is try your luck by signing up here. You will be required to use a buggy smartphone, but with the latest innovations for this generation… and maybe even the next.
